France hated Sankara because they feared he’d influence other french colonies in Africa to abandon the trade treaties they have and US feared that Sankara was getting too close to Cubans and Libya which was not good for US geo-political stance. At the end of the day, it’s a retarded African to pull the trigger. Sankara was only 38 when he died, he had put in place reforms of self reliance in his country, elevated women in his country into leadership status, improved his country’s literacy rate, improved health care and food production and relieved his country from foreign debts and all these in less than 5 years.
